Housing For Displaced Youths
Energy Architecture was commissioned by The Department of Health and Human Services to provide contract administration services for the facilities at Deakin Avenue in Mildura. The 6 bedroom care unit provides housing for youth who have found themselves homeless or at risk of homelessness. The development’s building design and landscaping provides a modern and high quality finish that sit well in the surrounding neighbourhood, whilst integrating a sense of private and public places for tenants.
The building layout and relationship of spaces, designed specifically for the user group allows for adaptable and interchangeable living arrangements, with large shared open plan living areas and private open space.
The residential development provides its occupants a robust, comfortable, easy to maintain and safe living environment.
