John Maitland
John Maitland launched ‘Energy Architecture’ in Adelaide in 1990, with 20 years of Architectural practice behind him, and since 1992 John has received 18 awards for Design, Energy Efficiency and Sustainability.
Vanessa Menadue
Vanessa Menadue joined the team in 2001 with awarded credentials in Energy Efficient design practices. She has developed residential project management expertise, and has taken up leadership within our team through practice management and Quality Assurance development. Vanessa tutors in Architecture at the University of Adelaide.
Nigel Miller
Nigel Miller joined the practice in February 2007 as Senior Architect, bringing extensive industry experience across 18 years in commercial, residential, community, tourism, education and healthcare projects, many of which have received recognition in the RAIA awards program.
Maggie Slattery
Maggie Slattery has facilitated Energy Architecture's Sustainability Consultancy service since 2003, managing large-scale projects, providing research analysis, reporting, sustainability design guideline development, architectural writing and documentary production.
Brett Aylen
Brett Aylen joined Energy Architecture in 2005. He has passion for environmental issues and community development, international experience in architectural practice in Berlin, and sound construction knowledge through several years of building industry work.
Corrine Ormsby
Corrine Ormsby joined Energy Architecture in August 2005 in an administrative role. The commitment and passion of Energy Architecture to sustainability has ‘rubbed off’ and has seen her involvement in the practice broaden.
Rogier Voorhoeve
Rogier Voorhoeve was previously based in the Netherlands as Principal of Architectural firm Voorhoeve, in Utrecht. He attained his Masters of Architecture in 1997, has worked as a volunteer architect for Tsunami Aid in Sri Lanka, and an orphanage renovation project in Atma, Mumbai. Rogier recently moved to Adelaide with his family.
Jasmin Miller
Jasmin has recently joined Energy Architecture and works in the areas of reception, administration and finance. Jasmin has a wide and varied work experience and is a welcome asset to the office.
Mark Thomas
Mark Thomas has a background in design and education. Working in architecture has allowed him to expand his design expertise and commitment to esd. Mark also tutors at the University of Adelaide.
Carly Bradford
Carly has a Masters in Architecture from University of Western Australia and has worked in WA prior to joining Energy Architecture. Carly's commitment to environmental design stems from her strong connection and experience with rural Australia.

Deb is a part of our Architectural team and brings a refreshing enthusiasm for design. A positive team member at Energy Architecture, Deb possesses valuable skills and a sound understanding of sustainable design principles.
