Mount Crawford house
Sensitively nestled in
pristine scrub, this
collection of pavilions
carefully enfolds the
space within. The soft
hues of the external
cladding, the warm timber
windows and the fine
lines of the roof all
work together to create a
highly successful example
of location appropriate
design.
The heavily articulated
plan, along with an
abundant use of glass
maximises solar access
and frames views. The
living, sleeping and
guest areas are zoned by
use of connecting
walkways, and are only
‘activated’ when in use.
