The proposed building is to be the display and information centre for the New Lochiel Park development for a period of five years, after which it will be sold on for private use, with construction expected to commence mid 2007.

The building comprises a 3 bedroom two storey house and attached Mews (ie one bedroom residence above a single garage) built to conform to the urban design guidelines for the Lochiel Park development. The Building has been designed to maximise the northern orientation and utilises passive and active shading devices to control solar access. The building will also demonstrate photovoltaic solar power generation, solar heated in floor heating & domestic hot water, a new innovative cooling sytem, rainwater reuse & site delivered recycled water.
